The Merchant is based on traditional work boots from the 1920s, when Red Wing started making boots without toe reinforcement to provide a more comfortable fit without any stress points. The Red Wing 8062 Merchant has a Chemi Gum outsole for excellent grip and outstanding comfort. Red Wing Olive Mohave, originally developed for the most harsh field conditions, is a reversed suede leather (Rough-out) with a characteristic rough touch. The Red Wing 8062 Merchant comes with brown, waxed, flat laces.
